World Drone Prix
March 15, 2016Keeping in line with the last impressive drone video, here’s a clip of the final race of the World Drone Prix.
Some notable parts:
- pit stop at 3:50
- missed gate at 5:00
- followed by some confusion around 5:10 – maybe the pilot was checking on something after the missed gate?
- pit stop at 7:11
What’s interesting to me is that even though there are other drones on the course, you don’t see them besides during the pit stop. Additionally, that two pit stops were required for a 10 minute flight, though it was at a high intensity and I would imagine the battery drain would be pretty fast.
What’s more interesting? How in control and fast these things are.
