Traveling Cross Country
April 2, 2014I’ve been on the road for just under a month since leaving Los Angeles. On the way, while driving in our van, we’ve seen some incredible views, I’ve gotten YouTube Certified and I’ve been working on some exciting projects for Fullscreen.
We’ve hit a snag in Idaho, however. Our van blew a radiator hose (exploded, in fact, I’ll post that sometime later). We replaced the hose, but it was clear that was just a symptom of the problem. After some help from some very kind locals, we got a tow to a Volkswagen service shop so the experts could take a look. It’s now been a week in Coeur d’Alene in Idaho. Luckily, it’s a pretty town on a gorgeous lake. The weather might be a bit intense sometimes though.
Hopefully we’ll have the van back and be on our way later today!
Update: Well, we got the van and started heading east. We lost power to the engine and can’t start about a mile before hitting the state line between Idaho and Montana. What a day…
