Rocket Insights and Amazon Alexa Skills
April 21, 2017The company I’ve been working for since January, Rocket Insights, has been listed as an experienced skill builder by Amazon.
We’re in some esteemed company there. That’s not bad for an agency that is less than two years old.
Rocket Insights is a small team of senior Voice/AI experts, building the product-focused agency we always wanted to hire.
While I haven’t gotten a chance to work on an Alexa Skill yet, I’ve seen what can be built and realize that we’re just starting to see how this platform can be leveraged.
Voice-commanded AI and platforms have long been a disappointment. They never deliver on the conversational experience that someone expects. That’s been true for Siri, Cortana, or Google. Now that voice recognition is getting better, the true potential can start to be unlocked.
I’m looking forward to seeing what else can be built. Amazon opening up their platform could really drive that growth.
