Other Google Maps Mishaps and Bugs

Not to pick on them, but the last post about Google Maps’ Walmart bug made me stumble on these other tweets I had about Google Maps. What a whiner, right?
First, there was the Happy New Year alert a day early. That one made me laugh.
I missed getting the fireworks on the map in that screenshot.
Then there was the clearly wrong location for “Your Location” in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
That one also required me to kill the app. Not sure why.
These are all pretty inconsequential and unfrequent. I still use Google Maps nearly every day. Not as much as during the trip, but still very regularly.
